- For your first use you must fully drain the Dell Inspiron 6400 battery until the laptop goes into hibernation.
- Know that after that plug in your charger and allow it charge for 12 hours or depending on what the technician has told you. 12 hours is the max and you can use it while charging.
- Charge new battery for three times at first. After that it will take less than 2 hours to fully charge your Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop computer battery.
- Learn that this is recommended so that the dell laptop battery will heat up for the time allowing ions to reawaken.
- Fully drain and fully recharge your inspiron 6000 battery pack every few month.

Very interesting post. Thanks for sharing it! It is always a joy to learn something that I didn't know. I wasn't aware that a Lead acid batteries and Lead Ingots could be used in such a way, and now I am aware of this.
